In 2014, I helped pitch and win the Warner Bros. campaign project for Mortal Kombat X, which launched in 2015 and became one of the most defining projects of my career. What began as a campaign pitch evolved into a year-long creative journey to establish a complete visual and brand direction for this iconic gaming franchise. I helped define the creative vision for the new intellectual property, leading the redesign of the iconic Mortal Kombat dragon logo, developing cinematic key art, and creating a comprehensive custom MKX typeface system with multilingual support. Every element was designed to build on the franchise’s legacy while introducing a bold, modern identity that captured the intensity and evolution of the game.

Beyond the core identity, I helped lead the creative development of an extensive campaign ecosystem spanning marketing assets, social media activations, and digital experiences, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence throughout the launch. The project required close collaboration, ambitious creative thinking, and a commitment to delivering at the highest level across every touchpoint. Seeing the campaign contribute to Mortal Kombat X’s incredible success, including its recognition as a landmark title in fighting-game history, was a career-defining achievement. The success of the work also led to my promotion, making the experience feel like a true Flawless Victory. Without question, this remains one of the most rewarding and memorable projects I have ever had the pleasure of working on.
